WHAT DOES COLOR MEAN TO YOU?
HAVE YOU LEARNED ANY LESSONS IN EXPRESSING YOURSELF?
The biggest lessons I've learned are:
- Don't be afraid to try many things in order to find out what you do and don't like.
- Don't give a f*ck about what other people think or say about you.
- It's OK to experiment with different looks.
- Those who don't take risk often fail before even trying.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR & WHY?
I actually don't have a favorite color. I'm sure when I was younger I did, but as an adult I have never been drawn to one color in particular. Color palettes are a different story. I enjoy the art of layering in all aspects of fashion, interior design, and cooking. I love a good tone on tone color combination, neutral earth tone palette, along with the juxtaposition between a black and white. These palettes speak to me as a designer, as well as in my everyday life. A neutral palette exudes a state of calm and attentiveness to all that goes around me, and the significance between black and white has deeper roots than just the beautiful contrast they bring in any element.

WHAT ARE SOME BEAUTY PRODUCTS OR PERSONAL WELLNESS RITUALS YOU SWEAR BY?
Always wash your face in the AM & PM. Have a cup of tea when you first wake up to start your day. Exfoliate your skin 2-3x a week. Own a great hydration face mask. Wash your sheets weekly. Drink lots of water.
I love Dr. Barbara Sturm's Foam Cleanser and Hyaluronic Serum, organic jojoba oil, pure cocoa butter, and the Baudelaire Wool Body Sponge.
HOW HAVE YOU BEEN FINDING JOY POST-QUARANTINE?
I have really been taking the time for self care, from skincare to having a healthier balanced lifestyle. I have been trying to make it a point to stretch and meditate in the morning.
I have really been enjoying starting my day off in silence, even if it's only for 5-10 minutes in the morning.
I have also been taking the time to walk in the morning for 30 minutes - 1 hour to clear my mind and stay active as much as possible.
